No Age - ‘Losing Feeling’
No Age released one of my favorite EP’s of 2009. I needed a post that I felt was worthy of an animated Betty Boop gif. This is it.

So, I'm supposed to see Motion City Soundtrack Friday/Saturday/Sunday in Chicago. I was going to go on Friday, come back for finals, go back on Saturday afternoon and stay overnight til the show Sunday night and then head home.

My first defeat was buying the tickets, I sped to Jessica's house to use her credit card to buy the tickets which sold out hours later. Second defeat was deciding I was confident enough to drive. Third was planning around my finals. As you can tell, I really really really NEED to go to this show.

Now, a speedbump, a roadblock, even worse, a dead end. I'm looking for motels/hotels to stay at. Motel 6 you can use cash but must be 21+, all the rest of them you have to have a credit card and probably be 21+ too (besides maybe Super 8 on the 21+ part).…

Yesterday night, at Comstock, we had our Secret Santa. Krystal had me (funny enough, I had her, too), and she got me these sweet aviators, some gloves, a necklace, and some mints. :)
I was wearing these sunglasses all day, and my Chinese teacher said I looked like a rockstar, with my sunglasses and my scarf. Haaa.

I hope my neck heals fast, and I can stop wearing scarves soon. I have a feeling that after tomorrow, it'll start getting conspicuous. :/

In other news, for those of you who have me added on Facebook or Twitter, you have seen that I was in a relationship, and it quickly ended. I feel a LOT better now. And if not for the help of my mom, and friends like Rhianna, Amber, Eric McMahon, Eric Sannerud, Will, Jeremy, Hali, Jackie, Jon, and my brother Evan, I would have freaked out.

With all the cars passing by and all the ligths from the buildings, I thought this would look awesome since everything was going in pretty much the same direction instead of the lights coming in from all different directions. :D

i've been so busy with work (holidays are the busiest times for retail) that i haven't been able to come on here for over 2 months.

To be honest, 2009 was really not a great year for me. School was not very good, there was music let out by my "favorite" bands that was severely disappointing (I haven't listened to Brand New Eyes or the new Say Anything though) and my general mood has been awful.

On a good note, I made lots of money (in comparison to the past), I enjoy all of my teachers, and I learned how to laugh at myself and take a joke.

The year's not completely over yet, but I doubt anything in the next two weeks will completely reverse 348 days of not so greatness.

Anyways my top album of the year is Fantasies by Metric, with Help I'm Alive/Gimme Sympathy being my favorite song.

Nothing Personal just got worse with each listen.
